I want everyone who considers themselves a racist to feel free to answer to this blog. I just want to try to understand you. I will never agree with you, but I think the world would be a better place if everyone tried a little harder to understand what other people go through. My boyfriend and I are an interracial couple. Please tell me, what makes the old white man in the grocery store give me the evil eye? What makes the black couple stare my boyfriend down in the mall? Oh, we see you, we just aren't going to give you the satisfaction of knowing that you got under our skin. What the hell do you care, what we do? You don't know us, you've never even seen us before! Probably never will see us again!! What's it to you? If our families don't care who we're dating, why the hell do you think you have a right to care? I have watched people treat other people without an ounce of respect because they are not white, then they will turn to me and laugh about it, they think that its funny! I refuse to laugh with them. When that has happened in front of me, I just walk away, say nothing. I have nothing to say to racist people, NOTHING. Okay, maybe one thing: STOP THE IGNORANCE. Other members of your race have to pay for the evil things you say and do, and I'm tired of it. If I could, I would wear a shirt every day that says, I"M NOT ONE OF THEM and I'd be proud of it. You disgust me.
