If you could go back in time, would you change anything?

What would you change if you could go back in time? I think I would change the way I raised my kids, and I think I would have gone on to college, and maybe gotten married when I was older and more stable. Just for the purpose of not having enough money and struggling, I would have rather a good paying job and not lived from paycheck to paycheck, and been able to show my kids what would happen if they went on to college, and maybe there live would have been better as well.

I would have finished school and not partied my teenage years away. I would have waited to get married..and then have children...I would have changed a bunch of things..but those are two of the main ones...

The only thing I might change is completing college. I plan to complete college someday, but now it's harder to get done then when I was younger. Other than that, no I wouldn't change anything, even marrying my first wife. That's right, although I did not enjoy my divorce and am still suffering some of the legal issues involved with that divorce, I am currently VERY happily married. I have to imagine that if I didn't get married when I did the first time, and didn't get divorced when I did, I would not have eventually met my current wife who is the best woman in the world! Basically, I am a firm believer in "things happen for a reason". In fact, my wife likes to say, "I have to thank your first wife, because she kept you off the market all those years and then let you go just in time for me to meet you". All in all though, I take the good with the bad, and love where my life is right now so not much for me to change. Jim

For me, I wouldn't change anything. What I am today is because of what happened in the past. It made me learn something new and old. Learn quite new lessons...

sometimes, i due feel like going back in time to change something i did wrong. however, come to think of it, i should be thankful for my past because it turned me into the person i am now. i don't want to change anything in my past. i love myself. all i wanna do is do something great now for my future.

I thpought about this question. It depends on how long can I go back. But if I would have to start my live over, I would try TO BE A KINDER PERSON, TO HAVE MORE PATIENCE WITH PEOPLE. and ... I have to think more ... sure there are other things too

There are so many changes I would have made. I would have become a Christian sooner. I would have been closer to my family. I would have changed my course of study.

I think I would have followed my dreams. I would have learned to drive at 16 and become a cop at 21. Too late for all that now..

I dont think it is ever to late, well to try at 16 it would be, but to become a cop, you can still go for that dream, it just wouldnt happen when you were 21, go for your dreams. Thank you for your response.

I would change getting married my senior year in college. We thought we had it all worked out. The I got pregnant 3 months after being married and spent a miserable final year in college. I evem ended up graduating a semester late because I was so huge and miserable I could not complete my internship. I would never change the person I married, but definitely the timing.

I don't think I would change a thing. I feel as though I've learned from my mistakes, including the moron I married. If I changed things my life would be completely different and I'm not unhappy with the results I've had. To be honest, I wouldn't give up a single moment, even the toughest times.

No. I will change nothing. I just want to work with the things that I can still change and that is the present to make the future better. I see a bring future a head of me If I keep learning and growing each day. Good luck to every one.
