My house is an absolute trash pile. Does anybody else feel this way? I'm trying to get motivated to clean it, but once agin am drawn in by the appeal of mylot. I am a procastinator by nature. What about you? Does anybody have any good housework tips (other than get off my lazy b*tt and do it)? Like cleaning recipes with bicarb or vingegar? I know theyre out there...but where? Anyone know any good sites with recipes like that?

I think I'm in the same boat. I'd much rather just keep posting here than go vacuum. I try to make lists of what I need to do each day, and then I get those things done if at all possible. It's the only way I can motivate myself to do anything and battle my procrastination.

You need a regular routine that you need to do whether you like it or not. You'll slowly get into the habit of keeping stuff neat. I'm organized but my house still looks like a dump sometimes..that's because my husband doesn't pick up after himself and when I'm really tired after all the housework, I just get angry and leave things the way they are. Unfortunately for me, that's the day a guest decides to drop in unannounced:( Lime also works for most stains on clothes.

I clean my house everyday and sometimes get a little discouraged when the next day it is trashed again. I have the same method day after day after day ... though. I get everyone out. Either the kids to do see Grandma or while they are in school or something like that, and then I crank up the radio LOUD, and turn on my favorite tunes, and I clean much faster, and get motivated just like that.

I too feel that I just cannot motivate myself to clean my house. Before I had a baby my house stayed fairly clean but now it seems impossible to keep it clean. Sorry to say I don't think there are any magic recipes to help us fellow procrastinators but i do know some good cleaning products. If you have ever heard of Stanley home products. They have great cleaners. They all work well. They have a website where you can look at their products if you wish to buy some. I have used their products and am completely satisfied.
