I think some churches are scams. thats why if you are interested in going to a church you should before hand have a meeting with the pastor and ask them what is all the income this church brings into ..go towards...like our church.. the money goes to the bills of the church.. to help families in need. and our youth group raises money for our own functions... for things we like going to like conferences and things we as a group enjoy doing ...here are some other examples of what the money a church brings in is used for , missionaries to other countries, to help build other churches, we are currently involved in a christmas for chirst fund which raises money for the ministry to go towards expenses of building new churches..another we are adopting a family for chirstmas..not only are we going to shop and purchase the gifts for the family including the parent(s) but also are raising money to put on a visa gift card so they can have spending money. so not all churches are scams ,, we also do things for the community and just fellowship with them not to make any money for anything at all but go around giving out free water or go to the park and cook hotdogs and hamburgers for anyone that wants one free.

the church is not a scam the problem is people are and like any organization your going to have people who scam the system but the thing you have to remember is that its the over all picture what has the church done for you and for so many around the world the church is big, extraordinary, and amazing and has done a lot of good even though you do have some scammers

i think if a religion needs a building to do its work then its up to no good. The money thing is just part of the same problem if money is important then spirituality takes a back seat. The idea went wrong from the very beginning man is greedy, any way of finding free money they will
