well, fat people should have the desire to lose weight. that is the most important thing to consider. they should have the drive to do it... losing weight entails a lot of sacrifice... take in fruits and water... limit fatty food.... limit rice... limit breads... limit chocolates.. drink loads of lukewarm water! exercise in the morning and before going to bed--- basically, the sit-ups.. they really help. do something at home and don't just sleep all day long. keep yourself busy... clean the house! do the dishes... do some gardening! etc... there are loads of ways to trim down. it's up to the person really-- depends on his/her persistence.

You can’t force people to change if they are happy with their lifestyle, and if they are, that’s none of your business. If they want to lose weight then support from anyone is a good idea. Exercise, if you have a family member in mind who you’d like to lose weight, suggest the idea of doing some exercise with them. Swimming, cycling, running. If they are over-weight and not confident perhaps swimming is the best solution, I mean after you’re under the water nobody can see you! Losing weight is all about ensuring you only eat what your body can use, and exercising.
