Moms out there with toddlers.!!!

Oh dear I am afraid they all go through that specially Girls Ok with the I hate you I just used to say ok well the Feeling is mutal and I love you This used to confuse my Daughter as for Tantrums I used to ignore them and walk away in a shopping Centre I used to just let her get on with it yes I know People stare but so what if you smack her 1 it would make her worse 2 Someone would report you for smacking your Child so the best way is stand there and wait till she has finished, it is hard and embarrasing but the reason she is doing it is to get attention and if you shout at her she will do it more as she is getting attention

On the words I just explain that those are not nice. Throwing temper tantrums, that doens't bother me, you want to kick and scream go ahead. Your not accomplishing anything and you surely are not going to get your way now. Maybe it just doesn't bother me when she kicks and screams in public. I figure if someone is offended they can go someplace else.

Words that shouldnt be said we sit and talk about how it is not a nice word to say that seems to be working fine with me....Tantrums Ive never had to deal with until baby #4 he is or was so hard to deal with. We just learned to ignore them at home, out in public places we would take turns taking him out to the van for a few minutes or more if needed and many trips out to van if necessary. Took a little while but we are able to go shopping as a family once again and we are enjoy him dearly. By by tantrums...

I think all kids may go through tis at one time or another. As with saying ugly words I just sit them down and explain that these are noy very nice words to say. As for the temper tantrums in the store I just put everything back and leave right thrn and put them to bed when we get home.

I don't have toddlers any more but my cousins little ones do that. She just ignores them because if she tries to stop the tantrum people think that she's abusing them. so she just walks away. Kinda funny because they stop right away after she starts walking.
