Your best Christmas/Holiday story or memory

Give us your best story or memory of a holiday that makes you laugh, cry, miss someone dear, remember, or any other emotion not listed. For me it would be the day that I had my second child. I was single recently divorced and in recovery from drug addiction. My daughter was born on Thanksgiving morning at 2:07 in the morning. She really made the holidays bright for me that year. She's now 14.

My best holiday memory is the 4th of July of 1997 thats the day my oldest son was born. I wasn't due until the 30th of that month but he came a little early. I remember his dad had called me the day before and asked me what I was doing that day. I told him I didn't have any plans. I guess it was a good thing that I did not. His father wasn't ther for the birth he was out with another girl. And I did not get to see my son until six hours after he was born. But it was still one of the best holidays of my life and the most memorable.

That is great. Seems like a kid that was born on our countries independance day should make him like a firework Bold, loud,beautiful, mercurical, fun! Is he?
