How old was your baby when they crawled?

Well, let's see...i have 5...my first one was crawling at 4 months and walking at 7, my second was crawling about 6-7 months and walking at a year, my third one however, commando crawled until he was about 13 months (never did crawl the right way) and then started walking...the 4 and 5th ones started crawling about 7 months, and walked before a year... All kids are different! The docs do say that a child REALLY needs to learn to crawl the right way to develop their hand/eye coordination. My son, the one who never crawled right can't take 2 steps without falling on his face, he is extremely clumsy! Hope this helps, GOOD LUCK! Everything will be fine! He'll get it!

My daughter was also about 9 months old when she started to crawl. She didn't even really make an effort before that. All of a sudden, she was just crawling like mad. And then she didn't even try walking, not even while holding onto my hand. Then, about a week before her first birthday, she just started walking everywhere!

My son is seven months old, and has been crawling since he was 4 months old. He was rolling at two months old, which I'm also led to believe is reasonably early. However he's only just started to sit in this past week, and still doesnt say "words", lots of sounds but no 'mum, dad, bub' or anything. I suppose what I'm trying to get at is every child develops differently, at their own pace. Some will excel at some things and fall behind in others.

My son is three months old and he has already started to "commando crawl"

My little boy never really crawled that much at all.When he did he kinda scooted instead of crawling.He looked pitiful.lol But he did start walking at ten months.

my son commando crawled at 5 months and crawled right at 6 months and began walking at 10 months...all kids go at their own pace. your son is a doll. he's doing just fine!
