Good Horror Movies?

With all of the new movies comming out has anyone seen any good NEW horror movies. I am talking about the ones that cause you to jump, get cold chills, or just creeping you out. It seems to me that all of the newer horror movies do not have the chill factor of the older ones.

I enjoyed "the hills have eyes" not that scary but a little different than most coming out. Hostals ok to.

the hills have eyes was pretty good it kind of had a Wrong Turn feel to it. Movies like that give me the creeps since you really do not know what kind of hill folks there are in like the hills of Tennesee. My daughter goes down to TN with her real dad every summer so I harrass her alot about it. Thank you for the post!!

Hmmm, that's a hard one since most of the newer horror movies that have come out recently have been nothing but junk. ;) Gosh, I've been sitting here for five minutes trying to think of a good one, but I'm coming up with nothing! I saw "Hostel" and parts of it made me tense, but it wasn't anything to get too excited over. I can tell you one NOT to see... my husband and I just watched "See No Evil" last night and that was about the stupidest movie I have ever seen!!!

I have seen that one also, and I did not think that it was all that great either. So what do you think has caused this decline in quality? It cannot be the graphics since the techonolgy has increased so very much. Maybe the desensitization (sp) factor? (too much real violence in the world) Hell I do not know but thank you for the post!
