I just heard the news story about the woman that grounded an American Airlines flight, apparantly she passed gas and lit a match to mask the smell so they grounded the plane and the FBI searched all of the passengers on board. I haven't seen the whole news story but have caught bits and pieces so I know this one is true. OMG, how embarrassing.

Matches are allowed on airplanes. They aren't allowed in your baggage that you check in but you can carry them on the airplane. I think you can have up to a certain amount of matchbooks with you.

LOL, I heard about that too. I don't know why she would do that on an airplane lol.

Oh my GOD, I had not seen that story. How incredibly embarrassing for her. But, honestly, how stupid too. I don't mean to kick her when she's down, but I can't imagine anyone thinking it's ok to light a match on a plane. She should have just dealt with the smell, or sprayed some perfume or something!!
