Lack of Sleep

How do you act when you haven't gotten enough sleep? I know some people get nutty from the lack of sleep and some just drag their butts the whole day. So I am curious how you act on lack of sleep. I didn't sleep well last night because of our doggy waking us up every hour it seemed. So I've been cranky today. And slow. What usually causes your lack of sleep?

I react different ways. I sometimes drag butt and do not want to get dressed or even climb out of bed. I will just lay there awake telling myself I don't wanna. But there are sometimes that I laugh a lot. My partner will comment that I am tired so I act funny and laugh more. I guess that is true sometimes too. It just depends on the day, I guess.

I've had some periods in my life when I suffered from major insomnia, so I had to learn to act like nothing was wrong when I went to school the next day. It's hard, but I never felt it was fair to take out my lack of sleep on other people.

I can not think straight when I am sleepy. I may say things that don't make sense or I will misplace something. Too much on my mind makes me have a difficult time sleeping. Something or someone I encountered causes sleep problems for me.

I go through different phases when I haven't gotten much sleep. Sometimes I'm real grumpy and other times I get real silly. But I usually drag all day until it is time to go to bed, then I get silly and can't sleep right away.
