I have been debating which is the superior system in this battle. Right now there are more games for the Xbox but I think that the Playstation has better components. What do you think?

Neither! :D I'm going with a Wii. The PS3 is too expensive and doesn't offer anything new. The games are mostly ports and sequels, and are too expensive. Besides, the PS3s started reporting glitches and malfunctions the day after they were released. Sony rushed production. The Xbox 360 may have great graphics, but they don't have that many excluxive contracts. And it's still pretty expensive. The Wii, on the other hand, is less expensive, has a good number of games, offers an innovative form of game play, is fully backwards compatible, and can do everything the PS3 and 360 can do. So I'll be going with a Wii this year.

Very true, I think the Wii is a good choice. I had the opportunity of trying one out the other day and found that the controls are really intuitive and fun. But, I think that the lack of titles that will come out for it will be its downfall.

I don't know, they've got a really strong lineup of launch titles. And not just ports and sequels. Plus, they've got a Final Fantasy game coming out. Final Fantasy holds clout, and Final Fantasy + Wii controller will be something to be reconned with. On top of that, a lot of the game companies that had contracts with Sony jumped ship and signed up with Nintendo to produce games for the Wii. I think the Wii is going to have a good showing of games - better than the previous Nintedo console, the Gamecube.

Sony said that the PS3 was going to be a generational leap, but it doesnt seem like that to me. Look at the graphics compared to the Xbox 360, its basically the same thing. The SIXAXIS controller bugs out on its own, plus you have to keep plugin it in to the system and take it out to use the wireless feature every time you turn it on. Plus it has 8 freaking CPU's but it cannot multitask, not even custom tracks. The Wii seemd really fun, but you need money inorder to actually have fun with it. The batteries only last 20 hours max. The classic controller connects to the Wii-mote and contribute to the battery power life. The graphics arent that much big, but u can expect that from Nintendo. They could have atleast made it a little more detailed, only a handfull of games look clean. Most of the games are inresponsive to the wii-mote and that makes the game boring. There is no online multiplayer and wont be any for quite sum time. The 360 has been out for a year now and i've seen tons of games that are good for it. personally I would get that if you do not own it already. The controller is better, the graphics are clean, the frame rate is generally good for most games, good backwards compatibility, the best online multiplayer availible, and what more can I say. The Xbox 360 has my vote.

I don't know about the 'NGS' as I've never actually heard of it o.O Is that the Wii? But out of the other two the best would be the PS3 as the xbox is by microsoft and you can just GUARANTEE that it will need a patch or an upgrade or something that is going to cost money otherwise your games will crash and it'll be useless. Microsoft cannot bring out a product without knowing they are going to have a steady stream of income from it.
