My Own is one segment in MTV of that a chosen guest will be asked to judge to who comes close to imitate his or her own version of the artist. It is exciting to watch three contenders to impersonate the artist that they find that they have in common. It can be in singing, dancing or even a look-alike. They will go through three eliminations set to have the final cut of three. This three will perform one of the video of the artist. They will undergo short workshops and wardrobe makeover. In the final presentation, a judge who will select the best person who fits in the shoes of the artist wins. What is so exciting with this segment is that the fun of watching girls and boys to compete and make themselves a complete makeover to the artist they imitate. You will find entirely close to the artist and the other way around. Nevertheless, it is all fun! A showcase of raw talents for that 30 minute or less shot of fame.
