Age of my child to use computers, suggest please...

I belive that a child can use a computer on his or her own at 12 with the proper arangement of site blocking of course. Games are ok but Give them a time limit. anytime before then all computer access will be monitored.

My siy yr old son use the computer. I do not allow him to use every day, but I let him sometimes to try himself.

hi,that is ,you have to decide better....because some have early grasping...any how initiate using computer at the age of 3 for aquitance of computer and fun..then by 5th year your child will get some idea on it....if you want to learn him seriously....WAIT UPTO ihe age of 6-8 years age..all the best.

STart them as early as possible. Computers will be like notebooks to schoolchildren of the olden days. Everything that our children will do in their life after ours, will have some computer use in one way or another. It is the future and you should encourage your children to do so now. I started mine since they were 3years old.

15 years is the perfect age for child to use computer, but for internet 18 is the correct age. if u put them so early in there ages, they will not have much work on internet, they will start in the bad way, like watching porngraphic sites , other bad things. etc.

Coming from someone who had a computer in their room at 12 -- Never. I got in so much chat room trouble. I think the best thing is for you to watch them online in a high traffic area like the family room.

depends, if you think they are good enough to use it let them use it. computer is a good medium of education for any age group.

if he is 5yr , he can start working with pc, but for internet , it should be 10 (with parental guidance) and when he is 15 he should be left alone on net ...
