Well me, I have been turned down many times. It's very upsetting and its not a good feeling but i still manage to stand up. I never lost hope, hmmm! a little bit sometimes but come to think of it i'm not the only person who have been through that and besides it's part of an experience that thought me many lessons that make me more a better person. It helps me reflect with myself to strive more and improve myself more. How about you? Have you been turned down when applying a job? If so, how do you feel?

Alot of time like 7 out of 10. The important thing is to strive harder and improve yourself for the interview. Everybody experiences it. At the end it feels so happy landing a job knowing you did your very best.

Wow, first off, you opened this two years ago and only got two responses to the discussion?
I have been turned down from (counts on fingers) one job really, but that was one after an interview. I have had many applications put in but no call backs. There was also one time when I cleaned for one day and I got fired because the woman who was supposed to train me was a biitch. I was her little side-kick, indefinitely, this job was offered back to me but I refused it... I don't want to go work with anyone that's like that. Ironically, I now live five minutes from the house that I cleaned.

It is normal to be turned down when applying a job. Each companies has their own required qualifications which we might not qualified. As per my experience upon graduation, being determined to get a job fast, everytime I see job hiring which I think I am qualified I do present myself. And as expected, some turned me down for reasons like you are over qualified, or you dont have enough experience, etc, etc. and that really upset me.
But its okay, submitting yourself for an interview for a lot of times will help you develop more your self confidence. Its one secret of successfully get a job, to be confident during the interview with answer that is clear and direct to the point.
