Why is Friday the 13th considered unlucky

I wanted to know why is Friday the 13th considered dreadful or unlucky.

friday the 13th, a day for the mummies - friday the 13th, a day for the mummies
I think nobody really knows why fridy the 13th is considered as unlucky day. I learned it from my Grandma.I did ask her why and what are the reasons for that. She just answered that she too learned it from her Grandma:-) Maybe someone hated that day so much and he started the rumor that Friday the 13th is a bad and unlucky day.
