I've been a school nurse for quite some time now and I am planning to make a career change. I've always been an artistic person but my parents didn't want me to go to an art school instead they made me study nursing. I think I'm doing fine as a school nurse but something doesn't feel quite right. I've been thinking about studying fine arts (with my own money now of course) but i'm having second thoughts..i think i'm too old to pursue my dreams now. And i have questions about my security too. What do you think is the best advice for people like me?

I don't think you are too old. I just finished high school last year through taking a home study course and I am 34 now.

You are never too old. Listen, you only have one life. We never know when it is up. Tomorrow may or may not come, so persue what you love today. I am an artist. www.mgcreativearts.com For years, I kept putting off my dreams of doing it full time as a job. One day I realized that years were going by, and always a practical excuse to put it off. Well, I made up my mind, I'm doing it. I don't want to ever look back later, and then say, "I wish I did." So, if you can do it, go for it.
