Is the Batsman Out... / myLot

Q1) If the batsman on Strike, hits the ball straight down the wicket and it knocks off his team mates bails, who is out of his crease...is his team mate out or not..?

No, the batsman at the other end is not out until and unless the bowler gets a finger or for that matter any part of his body to the ball before it hits the stumps.

Thanks but i believe there is some funda behind it coz in the league match we were playing thats a inter national champions match. it was given out. And i am trying to figure out the reason. Thanks Cheers!!
