To all parents with hperactive children

Someone has told me that the main medication used in my country for hyperactive children and teenagers contains cocaine. Is this true? I was quite shocked and would like to know if other parents are aware of this or is it just hearsay.

i wouldnt know for definite, but i have a hyperactive daughter, or at least i think she is, and my husband will not let her have the medication, he says that because he works in a prison he has sen what iot does to people, but i am not too sure he is right about that, i think that when a mother has had to cope with the actions of a child with this condition, whe will take any help that is available. good luck

I don't have hyperactive children, I was just wondering about what the medication contained. If your husband works in a prison and has seen the effects, he is probably right. But it might be wise to discuss your child's condition with a doctor. Thanks for responding. Have a good day and take care.!
