I have three keys on my key chain....one for the back entrance to my apt. building, one for the mailbox and one for the entrance to my apt. Don't need one for the front entrance of the building because it opens with a five-digit code. If you want a rating please tell me how many and what they are for.....If you have more than five then just give me the five most important.

I've got a car key, house key, office key and 3 keys that have been on my key ring for years...absolutely no idea what they opened any more. LOL. I found out yesterday, when I got to our office earlier that anyone else, that I needed a key to the front door of our new building. We just moved there in late October, and I'd never been the first one to arrive. Usually one of the guys in the construction company upstairs had already opened the door. So, I had to sit and wait for someone else to show up before I could get into our building. Now the boss is having keys to the front door of the building made for all of us. He had the only key for our office staff to use, and he's always the last to arrive (and the last to leave and lock up).

That was exactly my thought. LOL. I will definitely take off the 3 old ones and put the new key on. Always a pleasure to respond to your discussions.

So if you don't know what the keys are for why are they still on your key ring? Maybe when you get the new key to the office building you can get rid of the other three...or store them away in your file #13. Thanks for dropping by again and for your input.

I have 2 keys on the key chain. One is for the car and the other for our son's place. There is no need to carry any more keys around because there is always a spare one attached to each of the vehicles, just in case of an emergency. :)

No actually I don't have a key to our "home" because it is in fact either our caravan or the campervan is our home as we are a little bit nomadic normally. If we aren't away in one of them, then we will be at our son's place. One of the keys to the camper will be with me or in the vehicle we are using if the caravan and their are spares to both of them in our son's place, which is why I have a key to his place. :)

You mean to say you dont have a key to your own home on your key chain? Or is there always someone at home so that you don't need one? Nice to see your again. Thanks for dropping by.

Okay. You are forgiven. But you might have been more explicit in the first place then I wouldn't have to fill up more space in this discussion. hehehehehehehe. just spoofing, as usual. Thanks for clearing things up. Now I can get a good night's sleep without having to worry about you not being able to get into a house that you don't have because you are like the proverbial horse terd.....always on the road.

You really do travel light. Might I ask if that's the only key ring or do you have others? Thanks for dropping by and for your input.

Let's see, I think I have more than 5 but I will think through them to see... 2 for my home 1 for my car 1 for my husband's car 1 for my parents' home To I have 5 exactly, actually. That's funny, I thought it was more but the 2 auto keys are very bulky so it just seems like more.

Not to worry you wrote it perfectly. Je ne parle pas francais. You are like me just enough of the important keys. Merci beaucoup for responding.
