Who is the breadwinner in your house? Is it one or the other or is it both.. Many homes believe the mother should be home with the children..what about yours..who brings home the paycheck?

my husband and myself. We both work very hard.We have to with 4 children and our own house to take care of.When it's just him it's very hard to get food or anything that we need. With both of us working then we have enough money to get what the kids need and the bills paid. Not only that but if i stay home all day i go crazy. I don't like being copped in the houseall day long. I enjoy going to work.

Great ..I think most households both parents work but it would be interesting to find out if my prediction is correct. I think in some countries mothers stay home ..don't know.

I understand how that is..working from home is taking a risk..trusting that the employer will keep paying..

Sounds great that your hubby is head of the household..If I was ever to marry ..which I do not plan to..because of my vows..I would want to stay home and care for children why the man of the house earns.. Nowadays wants are more so the need for more money is higher..

Before moving here to central PA it was both. I had a really nice job. I worked part-time and they would work with me on my schedule when I had to deal with school things or the kids. Now, here in PA it just my husband working. For me to get a good paying job I would have to drive an hour to an hour and half each way to and from work. So, for now I am at home trying to find something online to help add to his income. Not having any luck so far, except for here, but I don't always have the time to be on here.

I am the only one in my house so I am the only one bringing in the paychecks. In the past I have had some roommates who payed rent, which was nice, but now it is me and my paychecks from work and these online sites.

we are equals in every way different but equal and I think either parent can be the caretaker when required but I dont think gender plays a role but responsibility is for both parents

My father is the breadwinner of the house. My mother is a housewife. She takes care of me nicely. She is a kind hearted woman.I am going to present her a necklace on the christmas on the christmas eve.Sometimes i feel my mother would be working so that we would have better earnings. But when mother is working then she not take care of her child.

May I ask what country you are from..It is nice to hear that your mother stays home with the children to care for them.
