Even though it been about a year, I still can't believe Johnny Damon, the one person Red Sox Fans use to call Jesus, changed over to the pin strips, the Yankees. I thought that out of all players, he would not trade over. I think that he is in it all for the money, and I believe that he was already getting paid enough and it was stupid of him to trade. He even had to cut his hair, that is so stupid, he was known because of his hair, and he cuts it off to play for the Yankees? And, I do not even think that he is that much of a player, i mean dont get me wrong he is good, but if you watch him he seriously throws like a girl. i just do not understand how u can go on ur biggest rivals team. and the saying is true, Looks like Jesus, Throws like Mary, Trades like Judas... except it should be Looked like Jesus. what you guys think about Demen?

Wow, so let me ask you some thing, if you were him and the red sox didn’t talk to you about a new deal to keep him in Boston, don’t you think that you'd be a little ticked off?? I know I would be! And the whole you think that he’s all about the money, have you not been paying any attention to the MLB, pretty much all of the players are all about the money!! so to single out Johnny Damon is obscure. But it was a pretty bum deal I hate seeing him clean shaven, clean cut, and in a Yankees jersey, its just not right, I agree with you, but I can see why he left.

You know, I would be a little peeved if the Red Sox didn't offer me a new deal right off the bat (no baseball pun intended), especially if I was their "star player" (though Ortiz and Manny have only gotten better. Well Ortiz anyway, don't get me started on Manny Ramirez...). That said, I still hate Johnny Damon, even if it is unjustifiable. He has changed since he is been on the Yankees. He is no longer the fun-loving, comic Jesus-lookalike that he used to be. He is different now - in it for the money, not for the "fun of it", without a hair on his face. It's disappointing to see the figurehead of the 2004 Red Sox now one of the baseball programed robots called the Yankees.
