Best Camping Trip

Tell me about the best camping trip you ever took. Mine was when I was a kid. All of my family would spend a week together at the lake. There were always at least 12 aunts and uncles and too many kids to count. We had so many RVs, boats, and tents set up that you would think we were moving in. At night the adults would all play poker while the kids played spotlight.

Everytime I go camping, it is the best time. I love getting out of the city, seeing all the stars in the sky at night, listening to the silence of a forest. Sitting around a campfire from sundown until practically sunup. During the day we drown worms...the kids fish but I am content to put a worm on the line, drop it in the water and not move for six hours.
My favorite part of all is cooking over an open campfire, just you, the flames and the food. Being outdoors makes everything taste better.
