Do rawhide stick treats and ears and things give dogs digestive problems?

chewy treats for dogs - made of rawhide and coming in many shapes these can cause some problems but how many?

I've heard that they do , but we give them to our dogs all the time and we've never had any problems. The only thing to watch out for if you have little dogs, when the chewies get small I take them off of them because they sometimes swallow a large chunk and choke on them.

I know that they throw up from them, but I don't think they do harm, as long as it isn't a constant treat. Check with the vet though.

Sometimes my newty seems to get them stuckin her throat and maek horrible humphing noises, I thought they were meant to help clean her teeth.

My boyfriend says the only real danger is that they might choke on them, but he is not an expert. We don't buy them. We just get the dog biscuits. It doesn't seem like they would sell them if they were harmful.

Just so you dont give the dog too many I see no problem with them. I have never heard them to be dangerous. So tell your dog to keep enjoying them.
