Funny thing, I just posted a similiar discussion about learning to web design. I just went to the library and took out a book called.."Teach Yourself HTML Visually" by Maran Graphics. In this book it teaches you step by step how to create your own web page and HTML CSS graphics, using your basic internet browser, notepad (from Windows)text editor or word processor. Most of us already have these on our computers, especially if you use any type of Windows operating system. I could kick myself in the butt for not getting this book earlier!! There are places that allow you to create your own web page....type in that in your search engine and you should come up with a bunch of them, or you could get this book and do it yourself. I know www.freewebs.com , www.SiteKreator.com are two that I know of. Good luck to you!

Exactly what you want to do with your site? Blog, a normal site? Do you have HTML knowledge, CSS knowledge? Flash know-how? What skills do you have? Do you want a free domain? Free sub domain? Free hosting? Tell me and I will answer your questions. I'll even write a tutorial if you want to. Just let me know.

H...interesting.Do you have any experience in designing a web page and first of why do you want to come out with a web site of yours...is it just for fun or are you planning to earn something from your web site? If you want a web site just for fun, then it's better to go for any free webhosting services and if you are into real money making business through your web site, then it's alway's better to design and host it in a paid server...anyway's...All the Best.....

You may want to start with Microsoft Office FrontPage where in design mode you can add pictures, write text or add tabs or components. The html code is generating by itself, you can see your page in preview, just save it with html extension and upload it on geocities or any other free web hosting. After you uploaded your webpage, change its name into index.html. Good luck
