Do you have a grandfather clock?

We don't have a grandfather clock, but my mother-in-law had a beautiful one. My husband and his brothers decided to let one of her grandsons have it since he spent a lot of time with her and even lived there for a few years. It meant a lot to him, and it's not like the rest of us will never see it again.

I had one, we inherited it. I didn't care for it though. Having your dad build one for you is an awesome gift. What a treasure.

I do treasure it and am so thankful since our housefire that it has only a bit of water damage, easily cleanable. Would have added to the loss I already felt. Thanks for responding again!!

My father has been really handy until of late, he is approaching his 80's and an ex truck driver. I will cherish that clock and am so glad it survived my housefire making it more precious.
