ipaq bluetooth keyboard software for XDAII mini

A friend of mine gave me an Ipaq bluetooth keyboard which she thought I could have some use. She gave up on it. I tried matching it with my XDA II mini and indeed it did pair. however, I could not use it as a human interface device to type in word, or SMS and other applications. I figured, it probably needs a software (which I think my friend doesn't know about.) Can you help me where (if at all there is any) I can find such software to successfully use this QWERTY keyboard link for bluetooth for my XDA mini? I welcome any suggestions. Its very frustrating. I tried for 3days figuring this out.
