hase the clouds on the screen of your mind and the sun of truth will shine brighter because "what the mind cannot think the eyes cannot see".and yes in this pursuit individualism is the key and not religious collectivism.for example just on account of being a hindu if somebody says it is my duty to go around abusing and killing persons of other religions,i consider it as an affront on my individual right to decide as to which side i would take.so individualism is the key here....we are none of the herds afterall! AS far as taking position vis a viv religion is concerned one can take various downstated positions: 1-Atheists-these people believe in what Marx famously said "religion is opium for the masses"and also that it is in the brain of the man and his human fallacies where God was created and not vice versa. 2-agnostics-these are the people who r not sure whether God exist and a firm supporter of non-interference of religion in politics and the affairs of the state.but they r more tolerant towards religious people than the atheists. 3-religious devouts-they fall in the category of believers who thinks that there is a powewr(God) who guides the whole existence of all the beings in the universe.they also believe in co-existence of other religions while carrying on their lives according to their respective religious tenets. 4-religious fundamentalists-they r the kinds who believe only their religion as the greatest and civilised and regards other religious figures as satans.and i tell all the fundamentalists in every religion, they are damn similar.a hindu(in this category)would say "sanatan dharma is the greatest;it is coming from eternity.a muslim would say islam is the ultimate way for all the kafirs.a christian would argue only christianity-the sole way to heaven. now one may decide as to which category one falls.and if you choose to blindly denigrate and abuse other religions u may well guess which category u fall into..! Now if an atheist abuses a religion that can be understood since he is a non-believer.but if u r religious and believe in the existence of God and yet choose to abuse other religions that can mean only two things-either u r not a true believer or u think ur God is the greatest.and if it is a latter case, there r millions of them roaming in darkness in every religion and in every country bordering on the lines of Huntington`s "clash of civilisation".
