Adopt a pet from a rescue agency, or buy from a pet store, which is better?

Scout the sweetheart - This is my dog Scout whom we adopted almost two years ago. She is a Parson Russell Terrier. We named her after the little girl character in"To Kill a Mockingbird" because that girl is a tomboy, and Scout is a little tomboyish too!

We have always adopted our dogs or been given unwanted dogs, but when I go to the pet stores, I want those dogs too! They seem to be so needy. I have always heard that you should not buy a dog from a pet store because it encourages puppy mills and the puppies lack social skills. What do you think?

i preferred adopting a pet from a rescue agency. it's some sort of helping those pets from being abandoned. and if will have one, lucky for that pet 'cause i will take care him/her with lots of love ^^
