What do think of up selling .. Where when you go in to buy something they try to sell you something much dearer or more of what your buying .. like I went into a shop and asked could I have three stamps .. reply! would you like five stamps .reply! no! I only need three stamps. reply !you can have a book of ten if you wish ! reply !I changed my mind and dont need the stamps anymore and walked out and will never go back to that shop again unless I have to..... have you had an experience like this !!!

I can understand that they need to make money. I do similar things with my items. I sell an item, and ask if they need 'such & such' to go with it. Sometimes they do, and buy it happily. Othertimes they don't need it, but say I'll remember it for later. She was probably just trying to save you the hassle of coming back later for more stamps. I buy mine in a roll of 200 and 100 at the same time, so I don't have to keep going back for more.

It's a standard practice for most retail businesses so I don't get offended if they try once or twice , but if they ask a third then I tell them, either get what I ordered or forget the sale.
