which 90's NBA team do you think has the bigger chance to be champion. because of michael jordan & the chicago bulls reign supreme of the 90's, but if michael jordan wasnt playing that time, which do you think would be champio aside from Houston Rockets who became champion when Michael Jordan was away playing baseball. carl malone & john stockton could have the championship if jordan didnt returned, hehehe. for me, its the utah jazz.. what do you think?

Hi chardyme...! i do believe that the Utah Jazz could have won a NBA title if wasnt for the Jordan luck was there... but i think if you look on the games that was foul... why? because the Association & the referees were in favor of the chicago bulls team... i aint a soar looser but you can review it... i dont a bad intentions with it because it cant be change... past is past... right? well, thanks for reading...!

i dont think that the refs favor the bulls but its just some sort of respect or privilege for superstars, or maybe basketball gods like michael jordan. there were some several arguable non-calls in the utah-chicago finals. one was when jordan stripped malone and malone complained that jordan held his shorts before stripping the ball away. the other one was what everybody called 'the shot'. jordan eluded byron russell with a crossover and a little help from a push. there's no way russell fell on the floor if jordan didn't give that little push. the referees should've seen it. but again, its michael jordan.

aside from chicago and houston? utah might have won in the late 90's, but for me, i'd say it would either be the new york knicks or the seattle supersonics. patrick ewing and the knicks are always held at bay by jordan and the bulls and the farthest they could get is the conference finals. fortunately for the knicks, they made it to the 1994 finals when jordan temporarily retired. ewing, starks, jackson, oakley, mcdaniels.. the knicks were a very formidable team. on the other hand, the gary payton and shawn kemp tandem was one of the most lethal in the west. early in the 90's, i could say they're better than karl malone and john stockton, though the utah duo was very consistent, and healthy at that (karl malone missed only a total of 4 games in his first 18 seasons). payton, kemp, schrempf, wingate, perkins. the sonics too have a very strong line-up. they were at best in the 1996 season where they challenged the 72-10 chicago bulls. too bad, they always end up shorthanded by hakeem olajuwon and the rockets most of the time
