50th birthday

i'm just a few days away from my birthday with the "magic-number" of 50.
i'm not unhappy to reach this age, but i think... then starts the middle-age of my life.
what do others think about this?

i think entering a new decade in your age is a great oppertunity to take stock of your life and start again. You can re invent yourself if you feel the need and define yourself for your age. Im 45 and remember turning 40 and feeling such a sense of acceptance, for the first time i faced the world, here i am, fully formed love me or leave me alone. I just hope my 50s will feel as good for me, my life is only just beginning

your are right, every time is a very good time. i wear lothes i like, i hear the music i love and have nothing to do cause you have to do it. i can change my live if i wish or let it simply happen.

Happy belated Birthday to you. I will be 50 on my next birthday and I do not like getting older but there is nothing I can do about it. I do feel the changes my body is going through as I am getting older but I am still here - Thank God. I hope your birthday was a happy one and I wish you many more.

I will be 50 on July 30th. I am looking forward to my birthday as I do every year. It is just another day, but it is your day to celebrate. To me it is not middle age, it is aging. Just don't let yourself get old.
