How did your parents chose your name?

Mine got a baby book of names and went through it and found names they liked and finally chose 1 they liked the best.

One of my paternal aunts found it in a magazine and my parents really liked it. Before that my mom wanted to name me Jamica and my dad didn't like it. I would have perferred Jamica. My mom got my dad back 5 years later when my sister came. He wanted to name her Brooke (after an actress or tv character). She said no.
