WHY are there SO many REALIty shows on TV today??

When u switch on the television today, all the channels have ONLY reality shows airing!! DO people really like these shows, or they prefer the ususal programs!!

i hate them. they are everything but real, people in it are just actors playing their role. above all, they are stuoid and boring. they are the worst thing in television, i wish they are all banned!!
