How fast is your internet connection?

Are you on DSL? How fast is it? I'm really annoyed because I'm still on dial-up! A measly 56kbps connection. My parents don't want a DSL connection. I don't friggin know why.

I have yahoo DSL and I am not sure how fast the connection is. I use to have dial up and I can tell you DSL is sooo much better. It starts up faster and the download time is much quicker. It used to take me 20 minutes to download something compared to 20 seconds now. Also my phone lines are not tied up. Maybe your parents think DSL is expensive but I was paying 19.99 for AOL dial up compared to 14.95 Yahoo DSL through AT&T. I don't know if that is available where you are but maybe you can tell your parents all the benefits and they'll change their minds. Good luck!!
