HOW DO I GET RID OF ROACHES?!?!?!?!

my brother and I are looking into an apartment but it seems that there were residents already there, some unwanted roaches...any ideas on how to get rid of them? i heard that it is not a one time process and boric acid is very effective...any other ideas? greatly appreciated

Catch any one of them, but try to get an adult male. Ask to see their chief. Politely ask them to leave your home and to invade someone else's.

Heres the problem, if you see one there are a lot more in the walls. Not only does your apartment need to be treated but the entire complex you are moving into to successfully get rid of the critters. The best thing you can do is hire a pest control company (the landlord may already use one and they should pay for this for you because roaches are a health concern) and they should come out and spray at least once a month for you. You can also buy roach bait (you can get them anywhere) and place them in every cabinet and dark places where you think the roaches may be, and buy a can of raid or other instan killer. If you haven't moved in yet, you can buy a fogger to set off in the apartment. YOu need to do this before moving in because often you can't be in the home or open doors of a certian period of time after you set it off.
