Why is america restraing itself from attacking Iran??

It's my belief mr bush did intend to decrease both iraq and iran. Previously the policy had been that Iraq and Iran kept each other in check, busy with their own disputes, but after 9/11 this country (for awhile) felt that was no longer safe as each one had spoken often of destroying the U.S. (after tiny Israel is dealt with) and surely it was only a matter of time before they realized they could use terrorism (which had expanded by 50%(!) in the 9o's, and has the same goals - the annihilation of Israel then U.S, etc. I wonder if most people realized that hitler too, had plans to destroy the U.S. You don't see that reported on very often at all, but he had definite plans for the U.S. (and more). Some of us may feel that we deserve whatever happens, but it won't be us it will be our kids, or grandkids, etc. And don't forget, their are spiritual forces of evil who all through time have worked all sides to issues and disputes to bring about great killing fields. All nations in their past have done less than good things, but none of them deserve this. That's not the question, even though it seems to be prevalent in the air.

I don't think anything will be done about Iran (or North Korea).

I think they are looking for a reason a solid one...everybody comdemned america for the war on iraq...now they have to be more specific in their reason

Well the best interests are that we do not go to war with Iran right now. I think alot whould have to happen before we would go to war with them. Plus the U.S. has it's hands full with Iraq.

Iran isn't a weak nation like Iraq at the end of the day it will be proper war. He has no reason to enter Iran just as Iraq. Although he's probably biding his time to win the next election and then go in.

Because Bush is a wise president. He looks into all pros and cons. Just by attacking iran, he is not going to get anything, instead many enemy will get born in effect of this.
