Going to Work when Sick

I've gotten bronchitis twice this year as a result of people coming into work when sick, and hacking their heads off! My company doesn't expect us to take sick days. Wouldn't we all be better off if we were allowed to work from home when we're feeling ill?

I agree one hundred percent. One of our employees came in unloaded the dishwasher and then proceeded to tell everyone how she had been throwing up and she wanted to go home because she felt sick again. Wouldn't you know, I got sick the next day. I got sick bad! I threw up harder than I have ever thrown up in my life. I couldn't breath. I was choking. And i broke blood vessels all over my face from throwing up so hard. I don't need that! Luckily (or unluckily) it was over the Thanksgiving... so I didn't miss work - but my holiday was miserable. People shouldn't spread their germs at work or elsewhere. Stay home! And work should allow people to miss when they are sick - because if they make sick people come in then the germs spread and more people get sick. More people miss.
