This one is a little hard to measure because all the squirrels we know gather nuts in a flurry all the time. Squirrels are like that. They gather food until there's no more food to gather. They are rather greedy. A flurry of gathering may mean snow is on its way, or may just mean the squirrel is doing his or her best to prepare for the onset of winter.
