Religion has been taken out of schools. When I was in elementary school we prayed everyday. A lot of decisions we make today are based on ethics and our religion. It seems like violence has become more regular in school since prayer has been taken out. Do you think prayer should be put back in school?

We had R.E lessons on fridays.. And I was banned from them :( I made my teacher cry, so I wasnt able to continue with it.. My family wasnt very religious.. Because I went to a public high school, we had no 'god theme' and thats how most of us liked it.. we had a chaplin for the religious ones.. When we were in year 12 we were taken out of class (last class before our exams) to sit in our hall, and listen to a bunch of people talk about God.. We were all very angry because we didnt want to do it, and we had more important things to do.. But it was forced on us.. I think prayer has a place, at home. It shouldnt be 'forced' onto children who dont share those beliefs..
