Christmas Gifts- How much is too much to spend?

This year my boyfriend really wanted to get the black navy seals watch for christmas. It was $600 dollars but I figured that would be a christmas/ birthday gift for him since his bday is in Jan. But still, is this still a little exessive. We've been dating for 2 1/2 years. What do you think?

hey, if you really love him then and he also loves you then he must understand ur feelings, that money can't - never buy the happiness.
600$ is nothing, but from the other angle, its a lot much...

It depends if you can afford to buy it. If you have to go into debt over it it is excessive.

I think if you want to buy it for him and can afford to then go ahead. we usually don`t spend money like this but this year my husband bought me a diamond ring. it`s a 1 karat diamond in a 14 karat gold ring. if it makes you happy I say go ahead.
