I think if you start something with a pessimistic approach you set yourself up for failure because in your mind you expect to not suceed , so no being pessimistic will slow you down and is NOt helpful in any way IMHO

I have couple of friends and their remarks are as follows: I want to start a business : they said it requires a lot of money I want to buy a residential site: They said sites are expensive and you cannot lock up your funds. I said I will buy vehicles required for business: They say maintenance will be prohibitively exhorbitant. I said my son needs to be check up in hospital for suspected appendicitis: Do not go to hospital, they charge exhorbitant amount I tell them I take a car to my office 25 kms from my residence. They say it is risky going through the traffic. Although, many a times they give their suggestions to protect me from eventual bad happening, they seem to be very pessimistic in their approach. Whatever comes to my mind, I always feel like trying it out, be it doing things for house, or for business. Before doing I think about the pros and cons. An optimist will always win the race. A pessimist stays where he is.Success embraces the courages people.
