What do you think? Not to make anyone mad...but do you think the organization is too extremist, or not enough?

I think that PETA is doing a great job. I am for animal rights. Nothing any of these causes would be extreme enough for my likings. I wish more people respected animals more.

I support PETA when it comes to the inhumane treatment of animals. But I do think they go too far with some stuff. Human beings where made to be omnivorous. PETA wants the world to be vegans. I believe animals should be allowed to live as happily and healthfully as possible before they are used for food. I don't eat veal because of the way the calves are treated. I don't believe that chickens should be treated the way they are for commercial use. I don't believe they need to use animals for product testing, etc.

I'm not sure how veal and chicken are treated. I do eat chicken, I don't eat veal that often...it's very very rare. thanks for your response.

They go way too far in my opinion. It is alright for people who live in cities, get their food etc from the supermarket to say "farmers shouldn't do this, they should do it this way" when they are not the ones who are actually affected by it. I am quite sure that if they had to pay an extra 50% for their food, they might have second thoughts about some of the comments. In addition they are seeing it from one perspective and not taking into account what actually goes on. It is just another case of the extremely loud vocal minority going overboard and some of their antics are way out of bounds. When they break into someone else's property who do they think pays for that. Certainly not them but the person who owns the property or maybe the insurance company, but then the property owner cops a big increase in insurance premiums.
