It seems everytime i turn around my laundry hampers are full! I think my kids believe that would be really heart broken and depressed unless i did laundry. i don't mind doing it i'm glad their changing but when i find clean clothes in the hamper because their to lazy to put them away then i get mad! I swear i must do 20 loads a week,3/4 dirty and 1/4 clean. So i had to tell my kids that for everything i find clean that i am going to ground them Am i wrong?

I don't think you are wrong in getting fed up of washing clean laundry. I used to get annoyed with my kids when they were younger and did the same. Half the time they just don't think, although I wish they would.

I don't know but I know how much of a pain doing laundry is and It drives me crazy. Sometimes I feel that my life is nothing but laundry and dishes. I joke and tell my husband that it's the loaves and fishs' in my life. And he tells me that I'm crazy! I told him you do 2 days of laundry and you will understand what I'm talking about, I do 2 loads every day and I never have a empty hamper.

I have tons of laundry too, and like you I have found clean clothes in the hamper mixed in with the dirty. That is one thing that really makes me mad and I feel like it is disrespectful of the work I do around here. I have not punished my kids for doing that because I can't think of anything that will get through to them. Grounding isn't wrong, but for my kids, it usually doesn't work. It is so frustrating and I really don't like being angry about stupid laundry.

We are constantly doing laundry. It never seems to end. I swear we get done and then we turn around and find two more loads to do. I agree we have the problem of clean getting mixed in as well at times. I think that is a good idea about the grounding, especially if they constantly do it. Now and then I can understand it but all the time is a bit much.

I agree with you grounding your kids should stop so many dirty clothes at one time. That is a lot 20 loads a week.

Hehehehehehe! I had five kids in 7 years, 4 boys before I finally had a girl. My hampers were full EVERY NIGHT. I thought that once they were gone I would have some relief but then my husband retired from the Marines after 22 years and it is almost as full as often LOL. My life has been a total WASH hahahahahhaa

Thats funny, we all have the same problems. The dirty dishes pile up even faster than the dirty clothes. It seems my hands are always in the sink washing dishes.

You are absolutely right, most clothes can be worn more than once (ok, not all, but things like jeans and tops usually can) and its just lazy to wash them rather than hang them up to air and be worn again. Let alone the environemental damage

I have the same problem in my house. My 2 year old thinks its fun to take his clean clothes out of his dresser and drag them all over the house and his room. =( I end up washing more clean clothes then dirty clothes it seems. I am to the point where I am fed up with it. Not to mention that my 5 year old thinks she should change her clothes at least 5 times a day once she gets home from school and play dress up. *sigh* I need a maid =)
