reciently Louisville metro ban smokeing from all public buildings in the metro area. Bars, Resturants Govtmnt bldging etc. Everywhere but Churchhill Downs and their establishments They said it was for health reasons. Bah humbug .It seems the health of the citizens come first, (right after the ability of makeing money for the city). Churchhill Downs would have relocated the tracks had they not made the exception . I would'nt blame all the bars and resturants if they could and would pack it up. I believe it is extremely un fair . What do you think?

Okay, this is actually a toughie. I live in kentucky, and most of the state is that way. I'm a firm believer that bars, and poolhalls should have a smoking area. However, first, i'm a father who doesn't smoke around his son at all, and am grateful i don't have to worry about sitting down to a meal in a restaurant and my son getting more second hand smoke than milk. Truly? if you can't wait an hour to have a smoke, or whatever, step outside. It's not that big a deal.

I understand exactly . But due to the money factor it's ok to die from the second hand smoke at Church hill downs . Or at least thats what our local govmt is trying to sell us

Well I am not a smoker and they are doing the same in most parts of Australia, I think bars and clubs should have smoking rooms.
