What direction is the Air Force going?

I bet the American public doesn't even know that their Air Force is being used to fill ground troop positions for the Army...Come on how many really knew this? Why is the Air Force sizing down to the point where it won't be able to run efficiently. I know why, because our appointed President and Pnac have put the US into an astronomical debt and there's no other way out. On the other hand, the Army is set to grow into the biggest in our history. Does this mean that humans are cheaper to maintain than aircraft and space systems? Are we going to let our country go backwards just because a bunch of white house and pentagon cowboys messed up our country? It's already been proven that you can't win a conflict yet alone a war without "AIR POWER"! Wouldn’t you rather lose a $25 million dollar airplane to enemy fire than lose thousands of ground forces? It’s a no brainier for me…

All I can say is that I agree with you and our government and "leader" have screwed up this nation terrible, we are going backward to times when I was growing up where our economy sucked and we were in trouble we are heading back that way and our President won't admit he made a mistake and that this decision he made is the wrong one.
