THE POWER OF A WISH

Have you ever heard the saying "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it."? I have had the experience of living the meaning of that saying. This past summer, I was making a dinner salad, & I half-jokingly said "I'd kill for a tomato right now" because I love tomatoes and salad just isn't right without them. A minute later my sister went outside to smoke. She comes back in carrying a "flat" of tomatoes. Not just tomatoes, tho. Red, ripe, ORGANIC tomatoes. She found them sitting on the wall surrounding the dumpster. Not IN the dumpster, just near it. Mind you, they were not there minutes before that, she had been in & out a few times that afternoon. Events like this have happened to us since then. The moral of the story I guess is to be aware that heartfelt wishes are powerful things

That's an interesting story. It's a good thing you didn't really have to kill for the tomatoes though. :)

These are simply coincidences. For example, there are millions of people starving,in the world. If they make a similar wish,I doubt, whether a dinner or lunch, would be found,by them, the next moment.
