Is Christmas Really on Dec 25?

Who among you believe that Christmas time is on Dec. 25? And who say that it is not Dec. 25, when then? Because I myself does not have a proof that it is really on Dec. 25. Please enlighten me with this.

the New Testament gives no date or year for Jesus’ birth. The earliest gospel – St. Mark’s, written about 65 CE – begins with the baptism of an adult Jesus. This suggests that the earliest Christians lacked interest in or knowledge of Jesus’ birthdate.

December 25 is a date chosen by man to celebrate the birth of Christ. While nobody really believes this is the exact date it is a day set aside for His honor. If we practiced the celebration of Christmas throughout the year we would all be in a much better world. Have a safe and happy holiday period.
