don't know if you class this as being sick but I had recurrent pnemothorax (where your lungs collapse) this was caused through cysts on top of my lungs and every time a cyst would burst my lungs would collapse. This was fixed by an operation called a lung pluerodesis. Haven't had a problem with my lungs since.

I have 6 little scars on my back fromthe operation. They deflated one lung then put an antibiotic on the top of the lung to kill all the cysts. They then roughed up the top of the lung and then used stuff like talcum powder to put on top. Once the lung was reinflated the talcum powder stuff acted like glue. They then did the same thing to the other lung. It didn't hurt and I was back to doing my normal things in 4 days after the op.

Ive had my share of it. Its not very fun. The best part about being sick is when you start to feel better. If you are sick for a long time in your life you look at life in a different way. You appreciate everything and everybody.

guess you`re right ... :)) the best part is when you start feeling good. it depends on the disease though...

Not been sick or ill in the early part of my life.. But in the last three years have fallen in a heap so to say..Type 2 diabetes, Thyroid and PCOS

I wouldnt say "sick" but I have been dealing with endometriosis since I was about 17 years old. It's not been an easy thing to deal with.

Certainly. Because of that for me was humane, there was sick must be recovered would not healthy continued, because we only human that only depended was the same the lord.

Of course. I remember the worst time was when I was about 12 and I had bronchitis and for the life of me I couldn't stay awake !! I would be watching television, well trying to, and I would just fall asleep. THis might sort of enjoyable but trust me it was hell !!
