There are many areas of discrimination - race, color, creed, religion, culture, speech, etc. I have suffered from this on several instances; and despite of legislation and/or policies this practice is quite truncated in the society. How can it be rooted out of the society?

I think each person at some point in their lives have been discriminated against. I agree, it can be for anything. Rooted out of society? I don't know that this is possible, unfortunately.

I dont think anyone as charming as you would be discriminated but i am compelled to agree with you. Prejudice is causing this discrimination. And it may be second nature for human to prejudice.

Honestly yes. Ive been told that I could NOT get into the military because I was too short! I thought it was just a joke, until I went to meet with a recruiter & sure enough they said I was too short!

It is the system that drives us away. Sometime we know we are capable of doing something but some craps who designed the system had decided prejudicially that short people (in your case) are not shorthanded to carry out the task. Most often than not - these formulators are driving away the Napoleons.
